Job description

Seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee container operations, depot relationships, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and customer support activities. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, managing container availability and positioning, coordinating repair and maintenance programs, and maintaining strong relationships with depots, vendors, and customers.
The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics, transportation, container operations, shipping, or equipment management, along with strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational planning skills. Experience managing vendors, monitoring KPIs, improving processes, and ensuring high levels of customer service is highly preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
โ€ข Managing day-to-day container operations and equipment availability.
โ€ข Overseeing depot performance, vendor relationships, and repair activities.
โ€ข Monitoring inventory, equipment utilization, and operational KPIs.
โ€ข Coordinating with customers, sales teams, depots, and service providers.
โ€ข Driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
โ€ข Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry requirements.
