Job description

Job Description:

PDI will perform duties that are required in the final assembly of the hoist truck chassis. They will also be responsible for the final inspection of the hoist.
Pay Rate: $18.58

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete any final assembly required on the hoist; such as, mounting fenders, valves, lights, wheels, etc. and torquing lug nuts and decaling.
  • Perform the PDI inspection of the hoist by testing certain specifications and completing the quality checklist.
  • Be able to cross train and work in other departments if needed.


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent required.
  • Mathematical skills - Basic math, tape measure, fractions and decimals.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to use power and hand tools frequently
  • Must be able to understand and carryout written and oral instructions
  • Position will require standing at all times
  • Position will require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs most of the time
  • Position will require frequent pushing and pulling
  • Position will have exposure to noise, vibration, dust, dirt, oil, and grease at all times.
  • Position will have exposure to smoke and fumes occasionally.
