As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar Inc., you will play a key role in supporting our operations by accurately verifying part numbers, locations, and quantities using a variety of source documents. In addition to counting parts and fulfilling orders, you will perform first-line quality checks to identify damage or defects. Potential Shifts: (shift availability may differ once you are cleared for hire)

2nd Shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday

3rd Shift 10:30pm - 6:30am Sunday - Thursday

D2 Shift: 6:30am - 6:30pm Thursday - Saturday

N1 Shift 6:30pm - 6:30am Sunday - Wednesday

N2 Shift 6:30pm - 6:30am Wednesday - Saturday

We have several openings on several shifts starting at $19.55/hour! Our night shifts have additional premiums included!

What You Will Do: ?

• Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists.?

• Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking,packingand shipping parts,materialsand supplies.?

• Read process flows and follow detailed instructions to ensure the movement of material within a warehouse.?

• Track and record hourly or daily activities completed during each shift.?

• Attachidentifyingtags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other handling units.?

• Reliability is important, be on-timeandmaintaina good attendance record tosafely and efficiently meet the needs of the customer.

• Physical Requirements: able to lift up to 35 pounds individually (70lb team lift) and work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.?Able to work on platform at heights of 26 feet or higher for long stretches of time.

• Safety: Conducts daily maintenance and keeps tracking safety logs on equipment. Inspectsworkingenvironment to promote safe workarea.Utilizespersonalprotective equipmentrequiredor recommended for task at hand. Speak up if safety concerns areencountered. Takes personal accountability for safety.?

• Warehouse Management: Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking,packingand shipping materials. Understand and meet daily targetsrelativeto role. Maintainsitemand inventory management records.Helpsproblem solving bottlenecks and delays through continuous improvement.Useshandheld scanners toassistreal-time inventory software, to ensureaccuratematerial levels aremaintained.?

• Collaboration: Work together as a team to help each other learn and meet shared goals.Come to work with a positive attitude and ideas for continuous improvement.?

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Responsible for inventory accuracy.Learnsfrom mistakes andapplieslessons learned.Useschecklists to ensure that information goes out error-free. The ability to properly perform quality checks; Focus on accuracy to provide our customers with the best possible experience.?

• Effective Communications: Uses verbal and non-verbal communication to receive direction and share ideas and job-related needs. Alwaysdemonstrateeffective communication in a professional demeanor. Maintains focus on the topic at hand with a teamwork outlook.?

• Starting wage is $19.55/hour (additionalnight shift premium for off shifts). Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory).?

Summary Pay Range:

$19.55 - $25.35
