What is a Consumer Taste Tester job?

A Consumer Taste Tester evaluates the taste, texture, smell, and overall appeal of food and beverage products. Companies use this feedback to improve existing products or develop new ones. Testers may work in controlled environments, such as research facilities, or participate in at-home testing. No formal qualifications are required, but a keen sense of taste and the ability to provide detailed feedback are important.

What does a typical day look like for a Consumer Taste Tester?

A typical day for a Consumer Taste Tester involves sampling food or beverage products, recording sensory impressions, and completing evaluation forms or surveys.
