Position Overview:
The Trade Marketing Intern will support the execution of trade marketing programs and sales communication across Phusion's brand portfolio. This role focuses on a broad range of responsibilities - from developing POS materials and managing promotional assets, to coordinating field marketing initiatives and maintaining inventory across partners and warehouses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, cross-functional, and equally comfortable managing logistics and creative projects.
This is a hybrid position, with the expectation that you are present in-office 2 days per week.
Please note: You must be 21 years of age or older at the time of the internship to be eligible.
Compensation:
The hourly wage range for this role is $18 - 22 per hour. The range listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and execution of quarterly trade programs across all brands and product lines.
  • Assist in the creation of POS materials, displays, promotional assets, and sales collateral through all phases of development: design, production, and order fulfilment.
  • Track and manage POS inventory (display pieces, print POS, apparel and merchandising items) across multiple partners and warehouses.
  • Support field marketing initiatives, including sampling programs and event execution.
  • Field any requests for customer support from the sales teams and facilitate timely resolution of any shipping, delivery, or accounting issues.
  • Write, design, and deliver Phusion's Sales Communication Digital Newsletter to the organization.
  • Populate and maintain the online repository of graphic assets and sales materials.
  • Research consumer behavior, emerging beverage trends, and competitive activity.
  • Visit retail accounts and bars/restaurants to evaluate merchandising and execution.
  • Support ideation around seasonal, cultural, and sports/music-related marketing opportunities.
  • Track and manage merchandise inventory across multiple platforms, supporting sales, field marketing, and consumer marketing teams.
  • Support marketing team to pick, pack, and send out marketing materials to vendors, partners, influencers.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Computer skills preferred: Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Interest in consumer packaged goods or brand marketing.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
