Job description

Head of Consumer Lending Operations - In OfficeFull Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Assist leadership in implementing and expanding our lending arm.

  • Develop and manage the end-to-end loan operations process, ensuring applications, client accounts, and loan files are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.

  • Assist leadership with team structure, hiring, training, and performance expectations as the function grows.

  • Manage escalated client, loan, and operational issues, partnering with internal teams to drive timely resolutions and maintain a high level of service.

  • Work with leadership to execute lending strategy and support growth objectives.

  • Prepare reports and analytics to track performance, loan operations, productivity, and business results.

  • Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.

  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer lending, debt settlement, consumer finance, financial services, or a related industry.

  • 5+ years of experience leading operations, client fulfillment, or customer service teams.

  • Experience developing and managing operational workflows, lending processes, service-level metrics, and team performance.

  • Proven ability to build and improve processes, increase efficiency, and scale operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze lending, operational, and customer performance data and communicate actionable recommendations to leadership.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems, reporting and analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Sales, Business, or related field.
