The pay range is $115,000.00 - $206,000.00

A role on the Enterprise Insights team means you will be a champion for our current and future guests, inspiring the organization to act in their best interest. You will help partners build consumer-centric strategies and activations.

As a Senior Insights Manager, you will report to the Director, Macro Consumer Insights and have responsibility fordeveloping and executing immersions that bring Target leaders closer to guests and consumers through experiences across the US that ultimately helptranslate intobetter strategies and decisions forTarget.

You willbe responsible forall phases of an in-market immersion including set up,logistics, content development,businessand agency partner management, as well astraveling on the immersions and supporting post-debriefs.You will be the primary contact for internal partnersand willidentifytheappropriateinsights,businessand agency teamsto executethe immersion.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About You

  • Minimum of6 years of Insightsexperience, with at leasttwo years of Macro Consumer,consumer strategy, cultural insights, or adjacentexperience.

  • Experience designing, planning, or executingin-market learning experiences, immersions, consumer closeness programs, qualitative fieldwork, ethnographic research, or similar experiential research engagements.

  • Strong foundational knowledge ofqualitative and/or quantitative research methods, with particular emphasis on qualitative methods such as ethnography, anthropology, focus groups, consumer interviews, and observational research.

  • Ability tosynthesizeconsumer insights, competitive retail observations, focus group learnings, external expert perspectives, and market context into compellingnarratives and actionable implicationsfor senior leaders.

  • Ability tomanage multiple, competing prioritiesacross agency partners, business partners,insightspeers, senior stakeholders, content development, data needs, and the overall in-market experience.

  • Strong attention to detail in planning and executing complex immersionlogistics, including travel, agendas, store and market visits, consumer focus groups, expert sessions, materials, run-of-show documents, stakeholder communications, and contingency planning.

  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, drive alignment, and manage quality and timeliness with research agency partners, external vendors, internal business partners, insights peers, and cross-functional leaders.

  • Comfort traveling domestically and supporting leaders in-market, including managing the flow of the agenda, adapting in real time, and ensuring the experience delivers against learningobjectives.

This position willoperateas a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core rolewill need to beperformedboth onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually,depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
