Consumer Finance Associate (Senior Level) – Multiple U.S. Offices

Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Senior Associate with 7+ years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience to join its nationally recognized Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on mortgage lending, consumer finance, commercial finance, alternative lending, and FinTech products
  • Handle state licensing and regulatory compliance matters
  • Advise on TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, and FDCPA
  • Support clients with money services businesses and payment systems
  • Enforcement experience is a plus
  • Work directly with clients on complex regulatory matters and take on significant responsibility
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of financial services regulatory/compliance experience
  • Strong knowledge of applicable financial services laws and regulations
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
  • Must be admitted or eligible for admission in the applicable jurisdiction
  • Spanish fluency preferred, but not required
