Consumer Finance Program Manager
Build and Lead the Future of Consumer Financing at Ashley
Ashley Furniture Industries, the world's largest manufacturer of home furnishings, is seeking a Consumer Finance Program Manager to own and optimize our in-store and online consumer financing and payment programs.
In this highly visible role, you will be the primary liaison between Ashley and our finance/payment vendors, leading strategy, execution, and performance for programs that directly impact customer acquisition, repeat purchases, and overall sales growth.

What You'll Do
Vendor Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer finance and payment vendors.
  • Align vendor activities with Ashley's program goals, brand standards, and growth objectives.

Strategic Marketing & Program Growth
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies with finance partners to:

    • Increase cardholder acquisition
    • Boost repeat purchase behavior
    • Improve customer retention

  • Collaborate on promotions, offers, and campaigns that support consumer financing adoption.

Business Ownership & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the business owner for Consumer Finance across all related IT projects for online and in-store.
  • Partner closely with IT, Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations to launch new features, offers, and payment options.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.

Analytics & Performance Management
  • Own the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and related reporting for all consumer finance programs.
  • Monitor daily performance for online and in-store programs to track KPIs and adoption.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and implement data-driven changes.

Training & Enablement
  • Oversee consumer finance training in partnership with external vendors and internal training teams.
  • Ensure all training content, tools, and resources are accurate, current, and easy to use for store and call-center teams.

Payment Innovation & Wallet Expansion
  • Identify and evaluate new payment solutions (BNPL, alternative payments, digital wallets, etc.) for online and in-store channels.
  • Lead onboarding and integration of new payment types, including go-to-market plans and internal rollout strategies.

Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain reliable attendance and actively participate in meetings and training.
  • Assist in training others and provide backup as needed.
  • Complete special projects and other assignments as requested.
  • Demonstrate Ashley's Core and Growth Values in all aspects of the role.

What You'll Need
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
    - or equivalent work experience - Required

Experience
  • 5+ years experience in consumer finance, marketing strategy, or closely related roles - Required
  • Experience working with finance/payment vendors and/or retail credit programs is highly preferred.

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Comfortable working with document management and reporting systems
  • Agile and adaptable-can pivot quickly when priorities or direction change

Schedule & Travel
  • Occasional domestic travel to vendors, field locations, or corporate meetings
