Job description

Job Summary:
The AVP/VP Consulting will champion long-term client value by stewarding trusted partnerships with C-suite executives and steering complex programs to success through strategic governance. They will lead and mentor a high-performing team of Program Directors, orchestrating cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Product to mitigate churn, drive account expansion, and refine consulting methodologies. This role combines operational rigor with hands-on leadership, requiring a strong on-site presence to ensure seamless software adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Your Day-to-Day:
  • Manage client relationships at the executive level (CIO/GBS leaders/CFO)
  • Partner with client executives, global process owners and internal stakeholders to align on expected value and means, and to measure it on a continuous basis
  • Collaborate with the Program Directors to ensure they are building strong relationships at mid-management levels
  • Ensure monthly steering committee meets are executed with clients in collaboration with program directors
  • Partner with sales to proactively plan for growth, hiring, and contract reviews
  • Proactively manage churn by proactively identifying risks and helping Program Managers develop mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with Product Management on segment specific solutions
  • Be the people manager for Program Directors by providing onboarding support, regular check-ins, coaching, feedback, and guidance, and leading formal employee performance reviews
  • Help to build and improve training methodologies and the tools needed for Consulting success
  • Manage deliverables to achieve deadlines across multiple projects and clients
  • Travel on-site to teach the client how to use our SaaS system and facilitate testing (up to 50% travel)

What You'll Need to be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
  • 10-15+ years of professional services in technology led consulting business
  • Experience in building and managing consulting best practices
  • Proven track record of developing C-suite level relationships
  • Experience managing and developing high performing teams
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts, such as, Order-to-Cash business processes including Cash application, Collections, Deductions, and Financial Reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in win-win solutioning and negotiations
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with small and large groups
  • Ability to influence, manage change in scope to drive standardization
  • High organization and prioritization skills
  • Anticipate project risk and constraints and implement appropriate solutions, delegating as appropriate
  • Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, working cross-functionally throughout the organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to constantly learn, fail, fix, and grow
