Job description

Gold House is a cultural platform where culture shapes global opportunity.

We sit at the intersection of entertainment, entrepreneurship, and cultural advocacy, reshaping society through a multi‑pillar ecosystem: Entertainment (cultural consulting, marketing, and promotions); investment funds like Gold House Ventures (technology) and Gold House Studios (original productions); accelerating the next generation through Futures; and mainstream cultural change (Gold100, Gold Gala, cultural holidays, media networks, and more). Our work has earned global recognition across mainstream society, while our community includes the most influential creators, founders, and executives across industries worldwide.

We are an ambitious, lean, world‑class team devoted to making history and shattering ceilings — and we are growing. If you are excited to define the next wave of culture that brings us all closer, we’d love to meet you.

The Opportunity

Gold House is seeking a fractional Creative Director to serve as the visual storyteller and aesthetic authority of our brand, responsible for how it is expressed across mediums. You will bring a point of view and set the creative vision that governs everything Gold House puts into the world: from flagship event design and campaign art direction to digital content, partner activations, and social‑native creative. This is a senior creative leadership role that will partner directly with Gold House leadership, including our CEO, COO, and other senior leaders to ensure our look and feel is as compelling and consistent as our mission. The engagement begins at approximately 20 hours per month, with clear potential to grow into a full‑time role as Gold House’s creative infrastructure scales.

What You’ll Do Brand Direction & Visual Identity
  • Own the visual language of the brand, ensure it is elevated and coherent across every touchpoint, and evolve it while growing equity.
  • Serve as the creative authority on Gold House’s visual brand — stewarding and adapting the look and feel to a variety of moments to ensure it remains culturally resonant, premium, and distinct
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines covering visual identity, typography, color, photography direction, motion, and design language — built to scale across digital, print, and experiential contexts
  • Ensure all creative output — whether produced in‑house, by partners, or by event vendors — reflects the Gold House aesthetic at the highest standard
Campaign & Content Creative
  • Set the conceptual direction across Gold House’s key storytelling moments, inclusive of cultural campaigns, programs, and events.
  • Partner with the Content Marketing and Experiential teams to develop the visual expression of our highest priority campaigns
  • Provide initial creative direction on photography, video, illustration, motion graphics, and platform‑native visual formats across owned and earned channels
  • Lead art direction on high‑visibility campaigns tied to Gold House’s flagship moments: Gold100, Gold Gala, cultural moments, and co‑branded productions
  • Review highest priority creative across content, social, and marketing deliverables; provide clear, actionable direction to internal teams and external collaborators
Events & Experiential
  • From the Gold Gala stage to partner activations, Gold House’s events are among the highest‑profile expressions of our brand. The standard is set by the best in culture and entertainment — and this role is responsible for meeting it.
  • Provide end‑to‑end creative direction for Gold House tentpole events, including the annual Gold Gala — from environmental branding, stage design, and lighting direction to print collateral, digital extensions, and content capture strategy
  • Oversee creative consistency at partner and co‑branded events, ensuring Gold House’s presence maintains brand standards even within third‑party contexts
  • Collaborate with event production teams, fabricators, and venue partners to translate the creative vision into real‑world execution on time and on budget
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Sitting at the intersection of Gold House brand, partnerships, Gold House Studios, and Gold House Ventures – this role is fundamentally collaborative.
  • Act as a thought partner and creative sounding board to leadership on brand decisions, visual communications, and creative investments
  • Direct and provide consistent feedback to internal designers, content producers, and creative contractors; set clear standards and maintain them
  • Identify, brief, and manage external creative partners when necessary — photographers, videographers, motion designers, set designers, editors— as needed across projects
What We’re Looking For
  • 1 0+ years of experience in creative direction, with a portfolio that demonstrates sustained brand‑building across visual identity, campaigns, events, and digital
  • Deep familiarity with brand expression across multiple channels and formats — not just digital, but environmental, experiential, and editorial
  • Exceptional visual taste and a strong, distinct creative point of view — you know what premium, culturally resonant creative looks and feels like, and you can articulate why
  • Fluency across design disciplines: brand identity, art direction, typography, layout, photography and video direction, and social/digital formats
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to brief and direct creative talent — translating strategic intent into clear, inspiring creative direction
  • Skilled operator who can work with a lean team, move decisively, and produce high‑quality direction without extensive organizational support
  • Genuine affinity for Gold House’s mission and deep respect for the communities, stories, and leaders we represent
  • Understanding of Asian Pacific cultural aesthetics, references, and sensibilities — and the sophistication to blend that fluency with broader cultural and mainstream appeal
  • A pulse on what’s happening across entertainment, fashion, music, art, and culture — and the instinct to translate that awareness into creative decisions that keep Gold House’s brand feeling current and aspirational

Note: looking for candidates with prior experience as a Creative Director or equivalent at an established brand, entertainment platform, media company, cultural institution, or agency with analogous clients

The Engagement

This role is structured as a fractional engagement — approximately 20 hours per month to start — designed for a senior creative leader who brings deep experience and operates with a high signal‑to‑noise ratio. You will be a trusted, visible partner to leadership, not a background contractor. The expectation is a genuine, ongoing creative relationship with Gold House: present for the biggest moments, available for direction on the day‑to‑day where needed, and invested in the long‑term evolution of the brand. Compensation ranges from $125 – $175/hour, commensurate with experience, for an engagement of approximately 20 hours per month.. For the right candidate, this engagement is designed to grow. As Gold House’s content, studio, and marketing functions scale, the appetite for senior creative leadership will increase in kind. We see this as the foundation of a longer creative partnership — and, for the right person, the beginning of a full‑time chapter.

Portfolio required. Please include examples of brand identity work, campaign creative, and experiential or event direction in your submission.

Gold House is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We strongly encourage candidates from all communities to apply.
