BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Design Build Estimator to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota.  Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN.  BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction.

Wage:

Primary Duties
 
  • Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
  • Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids
  • Identify project risks, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives
  • Develop and maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and pricing models
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and scope reviews
  • Assist in preparing bid proposals, budgets, and project schedules
  • Collaborate with project management teams during handoff and throughout construction
  • Track changes, scope revisions, and change order pricing as needed
  • Develop new areas for future expansion of customers and products as required

Education, Training, and other Requirements:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Project Management Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or similar experience/skill set
  • Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Stack
    • Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
    • 5+ years’ experience in a Commercial Construction role, with estimating experience

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM
