Job Description One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Manager for a position located in Becker, Minnesota. The Construction Manager is responsible for preconstruction support with project management, including drawing and spec reviews, contract/submittal reviews as well as additional front end pre planning work. The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card.

The candidate should have 5-7 years of renewable experience with battery backup knowledge. Construction Manager Responsibilities: Meet with inspectors and the construction team to discuss daily objectives, focusing on any critical tasks such as mass grading or utility installations. Review construction drawings and specifications, ensuring that all team members understand the project requirements.

Check contract and submittal reviews, addressing any issues that may have arisen. Provide updates to the hiring leader and project management regarding progress, challenges, and any adjustments needed for the project timeline. Oversee the installation of city utilities and internal private utilities, ensuring quality standards are met.

Conduct inspections of ongoing work, including underground wiring, to confirm compliance with safety and engineering specifications. Manages multiple projects and orchestrates the results to achieve a broad program goal. Plans and implements schedules and monitors program from inception through delivery ensuring all deadlines are met.

Defines and reports program status, development issues and success metrics. Identifies and monitors areas of risk. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve cost, performance and schedule.

Facilitates communication and coordination among projects. Manages stakeholder engagement and satisfaction. Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal process and practices impacting component projects or overall program.

Adheres to standard project management methodologies and reporting techniques. Requirements of the Construction Manager: 5-7 years of renewable experience with battery backup knowledge. Experience with project management, technical knowledge in Construction, communication and coordination skills Leadership and mentorship skills Quality and safety assurance experience Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint, and Bluebeam.
