Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the warehouse clerk - underground will be responsible for  the inventory, ingress and egress of materials and parts required for the daily operations of the various areas of the mine.  He/she will work at the Windfall site, located in the Nord-du-Quebec region, on an 15-day work schedule followed by 13 days off.


Duties and responsibilities                

Respect occupational health and safety and environmental policies and standards at all times;

Manage warehouse activities, inventory issues and control access;

Manage inventories, incoming and outgoing materials, and items necessary for daily operations across different mine areas;

Receive and unload materials in the site's underground warehouse;

Identify and arrange equipment in the underground warehouse in an organize manner, making sure that the location is appropriate to ensure accessibility;

Handle material inside the warehouse;

Maintain up-to-date records and a database inventory system;

Participate in stocktaking to ensure that the warehouse quantities match the inventory quantities in their system;

Unload goods using safe lifting techniques;

Ensure that the goods received are in conformity by inspecting them;

Prepare materials for shipment and complete appropriate paperwork;

Ensure that every order received is recorded electronically;

Keep your work area clean, organized and safe;

Report to your supervisor any situations that may affect your work, as well as any suggestions for improvement and innovative ideas to improve the supply process;

Perform any other tasks related to the warehouse clerk - underground position that are relevant to the success of the project.


Qualifications required

High school diploma;

Two (2) years of relevant experience;

A valid class 5 driver's license;

A valid explosive license;

Mining modules (1,2,3,4,5 and 7).


Technical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software;

Knowledge of inventory management software (SAP);

Hold a certificate for operating "Skytrack" type lifting equipment.


Basic skills

Organizational skills;

Demonstrate autonomy;

Detail oriented and spot errors;

Highly adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and mandates;

Excellent teamwork skills and ability to develop harmonious relationships with colleagues and suppliers;

Ability to work in remote areas and on atypical schedules.
