Job description

Rinvio is hiring a Construction Technology Deployment Lead for travel-based deployment of advanced construction technology and robotic equipment. This is a travel-heavy field role based near the Chicago, IL market.


Pay: $115,000-$125,000/year, based on experience

Location: Chicago, IL area; candidates should live within reasonable distance of a major airport

Schedule: Heavy weekly travel to project sites; schedule may vary by deployment and site needs

Type: Contract


Responsibilities:

- Deploy and support advanced construction technology, autonomous equipment, sensors, and related field systems

- Lead site readiness, equipment checks, troubleshooting, calibration, and deployment workflow coordination

- Work with operators, field teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders to keep deployments on track

- Identify field issues, document practical findings, and communicate improvement recommendations

- Support safe, organized, professional jobsite execution on travel-based assignments


Requirements:

- Construction technology, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or autonomous equipment experience

- Hands-on troubleshooting background with mechanical systems, sensors, electronics, diagnostics, or complex equipment

- Ability to coordinate field activity, communicate clearly, and solve problems without constant supervision

- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

- Travel-ready, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable in changing jobsite conditions

- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

- Welding, fabrication, hydraulics, soldering, electrical, GPS/machine control, or construction technology experience is a plus
