Job description

Assured Excavating is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Punch-Out Foreman to join our team. This position plays a pivotal role in the final stages of our sitework projects, handling final repairs, touch-ups, and adjustments to ensure our work meets the highest standards before handoff. We are looking for someone who takes pride in precision, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general site construction with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Pouring valve pads
  • Cleaning & brick work sanitary manholes
  • Touching up mud work in storm boxes
  • Setting meter boxes
  • Installing blow offs
  • Assisting your crew in their daily labor tasks.
  • Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
  • Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from site.
  • Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures.
  • Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs.
  • Digging holes, trenches, and shafts.
  • Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete.
  • Using power tools such as concrete saws and jackhammers.
  • Following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in site development, utility work, or general construction preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of grading, concrete, drainage, and erosion control practices.
  • Ability to follow instruction & effectively communicate
  • Skilled in the safe use of construction tools and light equipment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work 10 hours Monday- Thursday, 8 hours on Friday and occasional Saturday’s, on an as needed basis

*** Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving history with no serious violations within the last 3 years.
