Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Location: Western New York

A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of ground-up and renovation projects throughout Western New York.

This role offers the opportunity to lead projects in commercial, education, municipal, public safety, multifamily, and institutional construction. You'll work alongside an experienced team committed to delivering exceptional projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all field operations from project startup through closeout.
  • Lead subcontractors and field personnel to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate daily construction activities and project schedules.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate inspections and quality control.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Resolve field issues and maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
