Job description

Thomas Grace Construction, Inc. is a prominent nationwide General Contractor specializing in retail construction, including new store developments, remodels, tenant buildouts, and more. With our headquarters in Stillwater, Minnesota, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced Construction Project Manager. This role is essential for overseeing various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This position is not remote. It requires team members to work daily from our office in Stillwater, MN. Please do not apply if you are not living in the Twin Cities area or do not plan on moving. Thomas Grace does not provide any relocation assistance for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and the internal project team.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor job site safety and ensure that all team members follow safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on commercial or retail projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
