Job description

Immediate Need - Construction Project Coordinator  $60K–$70K base salary plus a generous bonus structure and exceptional benefits

NOVON Consulting is partnering with a well-established Minnesota construction company seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to assist project managers across residential, commercial, agricultural, and equestrian sectors.

The Construction Project Coordinator supports estimating, planning, and execution for mixed-use construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. This role coordinates with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree or certificate in Construction Management or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction.
  • Experience with estimating, project coordination, and cost control.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specs, and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with construction management software; Buildertrend and SmartBuild preferred.
  • Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with internal teams.
  • Support estimating, subcontractor procurement, contract review, and scope alignment.
  • Maintain communication with clients, consultants, vendors, and leadership on project status.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, reports, and logs.
  • Participate in pre-construction and coordination meetings to keep projects aligned.
  • Track project risks, cost variances, and schedule impacts, and support corrective action.
  • Use Buildertrend, SmartBuild, and related systems to manage project data and reporting.
  • Perform additional duties asneeded to support project delivery.
