  • Identify project risks early and develop practical solutions before they affect cost or schedule
  • Monitor field progress, quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to contract documents
  • Partner closely with field leadership to maintain production and resolve project challenges
  • Protect project profitability while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
  • Mentor assistant project managers, superintendents, and project support staff
  • Travel to assigned project locations as required based on project schedules and company needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-million-dollar commercial projects
  • Strong experience with commercial renovations, repositioning, adaptive reuse, design build projects
  • Advanced understanding of construction contracts, scopes of work, scheduling, job costing, forecasting, change management, and project closeout
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with ownership and executive-level clients
  • Strong leadership, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, or similar construction management platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Bilingual English–Spanish is a plus but is not required
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including potential weekly overnight travel for extended project assignments

Travel Expectations

This position may require travel based on project assignments and company needs. One potential upcoming assignment could require weekly travel, including overnight stays, for approximately 18–20 months. This project and assignment are not guaranteed; however, candidates must be willing and able to meet this level of travel if required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive senior-level salary
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Company-supported travel for assigned projects
  • A family-first culture built around integrity, accountability, innovation, transparency, and excellence
  • Direct access to company leadership and the opportunity to influence how major projects are executed
  • Meaningful opportunities for advancement as GSR continues to grow
