We're seeking an experienced EV Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the development and installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across our world-class facilities. What does a EV Infrastructure Project Manager do?
• Leads and manages multiple projects in consultation with Senior Project Manager and VP of Engineering related to civil construction, electrical infrastructure, and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station installations from project initiation through closeout.
• Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and resource plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget in collaboration with stakeholders
• Coordinates with internal departments, utility providers, subcontractors, engineers, architects, equipment vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversees site assessments, permitting, design reviews, contractor bid packages, procurement activities, and construction execution for EV charging infrastructure projects in conjunction with Senior Project Manager..
• Reviews project drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and construction documents to identify discrepancies, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including electrical codes, safety standards, environmental requirements, and permitting requirements.
• Works directly with field installation crews, contractors, and supervisory personnel to ensure work quality, productivity, and adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
• Conducts regular site visits, inspections, and progress meetings to monitor construction activities and ensure alignment with project plans and quality standards.
• Coordinates utility service upgrades, electrical distribution systems, and charging equipment installations while ensuring integration with existing facility infrastructure in coordination with VP of Engineering.
• Prepares and presents regular project status reports, schedules, budget updates, and risk assessments to leadership and project stakeholders.
• Manages project documentation including contracts, change orders, permits, inspection reports, closeout documents, warranties, and turnover packages.
• Schedules and facilitates pre-bid meetings, contractor walkthroughs, and bid evaluations while assisting in the recommendation of qualified contractors and vendors.
• Oversees procurement and logistics activities for project materials, equipment, and vendor services in coordination with Supply Chain and VP of Engineering.
• Maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and utility providers while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
• Conducts post-project evaluations and identifies opportunities for process improvement, value engineering, and implementation of best practices.
• Maximizes productivity by planning appropriately for work assignments and responding proactively to changing project needs and priorities in collaboration with Senior Project Manager.
• Attends bid walks, project meetings, inspections, and other field-related activities as required.

Work Experience
To be successful as a EV Infrastructure Project Manager, you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant project management experience; OR Associate's degree with 8+ years of related experience; OR 15 years of directly related infrastructure/construction project experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing civil, electrical, utility, construction, or EV charging infrastructure projects preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, construction administration, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, EV charging infrastructure, utility coordination, power distribution systems, and construction safety standards preferred.
• Experience reviewing construction documents, technical drawings, specifications, contractor proposals, and project schedules.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal construction, electrical, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software required; experience with AutoCAD/CADD and construction management software preferred.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Valid Driver's License required.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 11 - 20 pounds.
