Job description

We're seeking an innovative Project Controls Manager to revolutionize how we design, construct, and maintain Amazon's corporate facilities worldwide. In this pivotal role, you'll develop organizational standards for Project controls that shape design & construction critical path across multiple regions, driving better project speeds via creating a standardized framework for all.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project control framework for design and construction standards across global regions
- Improve project speed to delivery by finding efficiencies, timely reporting of critical risks and thorough communication across D&C stakeholders.
- Create performance measurement frameworks and key performance indicators for project consistency
- Collaborate with regional leaders to ensure successful project delivery from design inception through operational turnover
- Analyze and improve existing tools, processes, and project management methodologies
- Partner with leadership to drive strategic initiatives that enhance workplace design and construction excellence
- Ability to travel within AMER region as required with occasional global travel, approximately around 25%
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning and hands-on implementation. You'll collaborate with design, preconstruction, and construction leaders across global regions, developing robust mechanisms to standardize & control project delivery. From analyzing complex project data to designing a single source of truth, you'll be the critical link ensuring consistency and quality in every construction project.

We are the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Projects control and programe team - a globally diverse group dedicated to creating exceptional work environments by finding efficiency in end to end project management lifecycle. Our mission is to design spaces that inspire Amazonians to innovate, collaborate, and make history. By partnering across regions and disciplines, we continuously push the boundaries of workplace design and operational excellence.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Demonstrated experience of real estate construction methodologies and industry best practices

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
