Position: Operations Supervisor (DeWitt, IA) Job Overview: The company is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse and production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

This role is responsible for supervising daily activities, coordinating production schedules, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic setting and is passionate about developing employees, driving performance, and fostering continuous improvement. This is a direct-hire position.

Key Responsibilities: Operations & Production Management Coordinate daily production activities and workflow for a team of 7-8 employees within a designated area. Manage labor resources, prioritize projects, and oversee daily operational requirements to meet production goals. Collaborate with production, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Monitor production systems, enter and maintain operational data, correct system errors, and manage key operational controls. Escalate operational issues as needed and make timely decisions to maintain productivity and efficiency. Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements.

Leadership & Team Development Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to warehouse and production employees. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement. Promote open communication and collaboration across departments.

Support employee development and encourage continuous learning and growth. Safety & Compliance Champion and reinforce the company's safety culture and safe work practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Identify and address safety concerns proactively to maintain a safe working environment. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with contractors, maintenance personnel, and cross-functional teams to support operational objectives. Work closely with leadership and fellow supervisors to align priorities and drive business results.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and process optimization. Qualifications: Required Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (6:00 AM-6:00 PM / 6:00 PM-6:00 AM).

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial operations experience. Experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing activities, or similar process improvement programs.
