Job description

HGA is seeking 2 Construction Managers to oversee and coordinate construction projects from planning through completion, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana or Houston, Texas. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency throughout all phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day construction site operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements
  • Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation
  • Track project budgets and work with finance teams to manage costs and control expenditures
  • Resolve issues related to materials, scheduling conflicts, or unforeseen site conditions
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and quality
  • Communicate with clients and project teams to provide updates and ensure expectations are met
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management or a similar role
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling techniques
