Join our dynamic team as a Construction Labourer in Winnipeg, MB! In this role, you'll assist with tank and piping installation and removal projects (above or underground) throughout Saskatchewan and adjoining provinces. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution while delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating a willingness to learn new skills. 

As a Construction Labourer, you will: 

  • Complete project activities as directed by Construction Leads and Project Managers 

  • Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer instructions 

  • Collaborate with subcontractors for additional disciplines (electrical, excavation, concrete, civil) 

  • Follow company health and safety policies and procedures 

  • Travel as required across Winnipeg and Northern Ontario

  • Enhance company reputation through quality workmanship and attention to detail 

  • Perform manual tasks outdoors in all weather conditions 

 
Required Competencies

  • Petroleum or construction experience considered an asset 

  • Experience with excavation and concrete work considered an asset 

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract 

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment 

  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and prioritize safety 

  • Competent in using tools and operating equipment 

  • Physically capable of demanding work, including long shifts and extra hours 

  • Hardworking, reliable, responsible, energetic, and dependable 

  • Minimum High School education 

  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 60 lbs
