Job description

As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. This role requires a strong foundation in refrigeration and HVAC, as well as experience in both maintenance and installation. Your expertise in construction, HVAC design, and service technician experience will be essential in completing installations and system upgrades as needed. Additionally, your skills in mechanical knowledge, appliance repair, and property maintenance will contribute to the reliable operation of our heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within HVAC systems, using your core skills to maintain peak system performance.
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance on a range of HVAC equipment, including diagnosing issues with meters and gauges.
- Handle occasional installation work and assist with system upgrades as needed.
- Reclaim and recharge systems according to industry standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating with the team as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with heat pumps.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in appliance repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC system diagnostics, including meters and gauges.
- Knowledge of reclaiming and recharging HVAC systems.
