Commercial New Construction HVAC Mechanic

Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

The Commercial New Construction HVAC Mechanic is responsible for installing commercial HVAC systems in new and renovated buildings. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install commercial HVAC systems in new and renovated buildings
  • Remove old equipment and set new equipment
  • Install ductwork, refrigeration piping, drain piping, and gas piping
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Complete equipment start-up procedures and checklists
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, condition, and inventory
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years commercial HVAC experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • EPA Universal Certification (Preferred)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and check own work for quality
Compensation & Benefits
  • $25 – $35 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and qualifications
