Job description

ITG Communication is Hiring for Construction Coordinator in Seattle, WA.
The Construction Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures that projects are executed in alignment with company standards, client requirements, and budget expectations. The Construction Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination between field operations, subcontractors, internal departments, and external stakeholders. This role drives project execution, supports cost control, and ensures timely delivery of construction activities across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout
• Support planning of workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines
• Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues
• Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects
• Monitor job costs and track work-in-progress against budget
• Review and evaluate change orders for accuracy and financial impact
• Support cost control efforts to ensure project profitability
• Conduct site walkouts and ride-outs to assess project conditions, gather data, and monitor progress
• Perform post-construction reviews to ensure quality and completion standards are met
• Identify field issues and collaborate on solutions with internal teams and contractors
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews
• Monitor contractor performance against project goals, timelines, and quality standards
• Ensure proper resource allocation including labor, materials, and equipment
• Partner with internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, Legal, Engineering, and Design
• Provide technical input and construction support to cross-functional stakeholders
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to leadership and relevant teams
• Coordinate permit applications, licensing, and make-ready processes
• Interface with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
• Maintain project logs, reports, and documentation related to construction activities, materials, and expenditures
• Track project milestones and provide status updates to management
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project data
• Review and respond to customer requests and complaints related to construction activities • Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction

Education:

• Telecom infrastructure deployment (aerial and underground)
• Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination
• Contractor and vendor management
• Regulatory and permitting processes
