Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimation, with a focus on commercial building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of diverse construction ventures by accurately assessing project costs, analyzing bids, and collaborating with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Evaluation: Review project specifications, blueprints, and site conditions to thoroughly understand project scope, requirements, and constraints.
  2. Cost Estimation: Utilize construction estimating software and industry knowledge to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  3. Bid Preparation: Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
  4. Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain positive relationships to secure competitive pricing and quality services.
