WHAT YOU GET TO DO

The Consignment Inventory Specialist- Level 1 will be responsible for consignment spare parts management and administration process for North America for new and existing customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Process consignment orders for all relevant customers utilizing ERP software SAP for each respective site.
  • Liaise with KNAPP Resident Business Team to capture part replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure timely resolution of pricing or inventory discrepancies by working closely with procurement and KNAPP Resident Technicians.
  • Coordinate inventory audits as required by site contracts.
  • Monitor cycle counts that will be performed by the onsite technician and resolve discrepancies.
  • Cooperate with the Purchasing Team and Warehouse Team to secure qualified management of spare parts delivery when applicable.
  • Update Management of open orders and customer follow-up with regards to open orders.
  • Issue purchase orders for all consignment parts; manage through receiving.
  • Handle product expediting issues to meet the needs of the business.
  • Visit customers to assist with year-end inventory audits as directed.
  • Assist the โ€œConsignment Inventory Specialist โ€“ Level 2โ€ position in Consignment Inventory duties.
  • Perform other duties as required

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related studies preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience preferably in automation industry
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP System preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data
  • Basic technical understanding
  • Good negotiation, communication (oral and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions and Environment:

  • Travel of up to 25%
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Passport or ability to obtain a passport
  • Professional office etiquette is required at all times
