Job Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day account management of Healthmark Industries' customer accounts. The position (i) provides sales and business development assistance to field sales representatives, (ii) creates new business and revenue objectives for assigned territories, (iii) maintains customer relationship. 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Regular communication with sales representatives regarding leads, opportunities, and campaign initiatives.
  • Follow up on leads and sample requests.
  • Work to help resolve quality control inquiries and consignment issues with sales representatives.
  • Achieve or exceed KPI goals as required.
  • Lead the development and execution of opportunity win strategies with comprehensive understanding of the customer needs, competitive landscape, and Healthmark' s value proposition.
  • Effectively communicate and influence customers during RFQ follow ups.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Utilize product knowledge to engage and develop solution strategies with customers.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Serve as the link of communication between customers and sales operation team.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • On occasion, attend vendor shows.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
  • Good telephone and email technique.
  • Skill and proficiency in the use of personal computer software programs including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good phone technique.
  • Good follow up skills.
  • Uses Phone, Computer, Scanner, Copier, Fax Machine.
  • Other duties assigned by the inside sales manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of Inside Sales, Sales, or Account Management related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree.

Quality Requirements:  

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

  • Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
  • Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions: 

  • Minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Hybrid schedule of 3 days on site and 2 days remote (Example: Monday-Wednesday on site work and Thursday and Friday remote).

The total compensation range (base + commission) for this position is between $69,000-$78,000 per year depending on experience and location.
