What Your Impact Is
As a Partner, you will:
- Lead ERMโs growth in the Power sector, focusing on regulated utilities and emerging energy companies.
- Spearhead ecological mitigation and restoration initiatives, including endangered species protection and habitat conservation.
- Build and mentor highโperforming teams to deliver exceptional client value across complex capital projects.
- Shape longโterm client strategies that integrate sustainability into every phaseโfrom planning to operation.
- Represent ERM as a thought leader in environmental consulting, influencing industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements focused on biological mitigation, permitting, and ecological restoration.
- Develop and execute strategic consulting programs tailored to the Power sector.
- Collaborate with internal leaders to drive regional growth and service innovation.
- Mentor project managers and consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and impact.
- Deliver highโvalue solutions that align with client sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
- Drive commercial strategies to win new business and expand ERMโs market presence.
- Ensure project success across lifecycle stagesโplanning, construction, and operation.
- Uphold ERMโs standards for health & safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
- BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or the Power sector.
- Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
- Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
- Strong business development track record with multiโmillionโdollar program delivery.
- Expertise in ESA Sections 10 & 7, HCPs, and regional permitting (e.g., Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks).
- Preferred: Experience establishing mitigation banks and writing vegetation management plans.
- Existing client relationships in the Power sector that can be leveraged for growth.
- Familiarity with utility commissions, regulatory agencies, and emerging sustainability trends.
