About the Job:
Shriners Children’s Boston is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Pediatric Unit (Peds). In this role, you’ll provide high-quality care to pediatric patients, including assessment, administration of treatments, and education for families. As part of a compassionate and dedicated team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting children and their families during medical procedures, treatments, and recovery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care to pediatric patients, including routine assessments and interventions.

  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders.

  • Monitor and document patient progress and health changes.

  • Provide emotional support to pediatric patients and their families.

  • Educate families on care plans, medications, and aftercare.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal care.

  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy protocols.
