Job description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced and highly organized Plaintiff’s Litigation Secretary to support a Senior Partner. This is a full-time, in-office position for a motivated professional who excels in delivering high-quality administrative and litigation support.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years of plaintiff’s litigation secretarial experience

· Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules (state and federal)

· Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality

· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software

· A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently as well as with other litigation staff

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide direct support to a senior litigation partner managing a heavy and varied caseload

· Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and trial preparation materials

· Manage court filings in state and federal courts (e-filing experience required)

· Maintain attorney calendar, schedule court appearances, depositions, and client meetings

· Track deadlines and ensure timely filing and service of legal documents

· Organize and maintain case files

· Communicate professionally with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
