Job description

At OCMI, our core values-One Team, Curiosity, Meaningful Service, and Integrity-drive everything we do. Founded in 1982 and still privately owned, we've become one of the nation's fastest-growing construction management consultancies. Serving markets across federal, education, hospitality, healthcare, technology, and commercial sectors, we offer comprehensive services including cost management, project management, scheduling, and project controls. Most importantly, our teams are passionate about supporting each other and making a difference in the communities we serve.
We're excited to welcome a Project Manager with experience in HCAI healthcare projects to our team in Northern California. This role offers you the opportunity to be a key member of our project management team, supporting one of the largest healthcare programs in the country, working on complex and rewarding projects while continuing to grow your career alongside a passionate team of cost management, project management, and scheduling professionals.
If this opportunity aligns with your experience and interests, we encourage you to apply. A recruiter and subject-matter expert will review your application and respond within five business days.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication and manage stakeholders, including facility staff, project coordinators, contractors, design professionals, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and present written reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and other project documentation related to project status, risks, schedule, and budget.
  • Support projects throughout planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.
  • Review and coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, pay applications, and other project documentation.
  • Manage field activities to ensure work is completed in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve constructability, schedule, cost, and operational issues.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain project reporting, logs, and document controls.
  • Manage and monitor the pace and schedule of the project in conjunction with office-based cost and schedule support.
  • Provide strong document and project controls, including monitoring project risks, quality issues, and potential cost/schedule impacts.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Prior experience with HCAI/OSHPD healthcare projects required.
  • Strong understanding of construction administration, project controls, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Strong experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, life safety, and central utility infrastructure systems.
  • Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, schedules, and change orders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred, but not required.

Benefits include:
  • Company-sponsored Medical/Dental/Vision and Life Insurance
  • 401K Program with a Company Match
  • Paid Holidays / Sick Leave / Vacation Accrual
  • Company Team Building, Employee Events, and a fun, people-first environment

Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000
