Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

U.S. Bank is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB & ITOM Engineer to join a growing ServiceNow Software Engineering team responsible for the enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Discovery, and Service Mapping platforms. This individual will play a key role in improving technology visibility across the organization by helping map and manage relationships between infrastructure, applications, technology services, and business services. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on ServiceNow ITOM development experience and a deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments.

This person will develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM solutions while partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams across the bank. They will work in an Agile environment to deliver capabilities that improve service visibility, configuration management, and infrastructure discovery while supporting key technology transformation initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver ServiceNow solutions based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Configure, enhance, and support CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Build, test, and deploy functionality through Agile release cycles.
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to implement platform enhancements and technical requirements.
  • Support data ingestion, normalization, and ETL processes that maintain CMDB accuracy and service visibility.
  • Work development stories from backlog through production deployment.
  • Assist with mapping relationships between infrastructure, applications, and business services.
  • Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM capabilities.
  • Ensure solutions align with established ServiceNow development standards and best practices.

Must Have Skills:

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow ITOM Visibility development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Discovery.
  • Hands-on experience with Service Mapping.
  • Experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with data ingestion and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of application hosting architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow data governance and CMDB best practices.
  • Experience implementing enterprise CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping solutions.
  • ITIL knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management principles.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience working within large enterprise technology environments.

Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
