Configuration Engineers are needed on multiple mission critical programs. Experience all aspects of a product life cycle, as a member of a fast-paced team.

We are seeking a candidate whose primary focus of this role will be Software Configuration Management (SWCM), administrating product configuration control, developing and maintaining product build documentation and drawings, and the releasing of software items.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintaining Software Configuration Management (SWCM) processes and policies
  • Controlling and tracking software baselines, versions, and builds
  • Coordinating and executing software releases, including build activities
  • Maintaining configuration status accounting and ensuring traceability of changes
  • Reviewing and approving Change Notices (CNs) through Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory standards
  • Supporting audits by providing configuration records and documentation
  • Administering product configuration control processes
  • This position requires the candidate to work in a dynamic environment in which evolving program priorities dictate individual task priority. This position is part of a larger configuration management team and requires regular collaboration with team members.
  • The ideal candidate works independently while supporting team goals and communicating task status. During peak periods, the candidate may be required to work a modified schedule to support team goals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret DoD U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Product Data Management Tool experience
  • Understanding of SW configuration management concepts

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
