Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): AZ, FL, GA, NC and TX.

This position is responsible for analysis of complex aspects of Business Applications and Application Lifecycle Management tracking, analysis, and reporting within the Information Technology (IT) department of the Bank. Develops, maintains, and improves upon IT Asset Management governance, standards, procedures, plans, controls, and operating metrics to achieve operational objectives. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements process improvements. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge of IT asset management.


Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities Operational Support
    • Provides expert support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business application management practices within the Application Portfolio Management discipline.
    • Manages escalated matters that arise during daily operations, providing guidance to lower-level IT asset management analysts and leading workflow. Develops and implements modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units.
    • Provides support and governance for the Bank’s Business Application Onboarding process; ensuring that pre-requisites and required documented approvals are in a timely manner.
    • Collaborates with various teams across the Bank to ensure complete and accurate business application inventory and adherence to procedures.
    • Assists in maintaining team procedures and job aides for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
    • Participates in all monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual data management activities to ensure business application attributes remains complete and accurate.
    Identifying Business Objectives
    • Participates in determining program needs through highly technical analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals and communicates these using specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
    Reporting and Analysis
    • Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Develops process enhancements based on reporting.
    • Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.

Qualifications

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting
Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Application Portfolio Management or IT Asset Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of equivalent experience.
