Job description

Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
The Business Systems Analyst III provides Production support, first and second level end-user support and is responsible for system configuration of First Citizen Bank's procure to pay (P2P) application, Coupa. This role works closely with Technology partners and delivers value to our business users through system enhancements, while ensuring the accuracy and stability of the system. As needed, this position also serves as workstream subject matter experts for strategic projects, typically acquisition related. These duties require the ability to perform complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. This role collaborates with business process owners and other team members to identify and document functional business requirements and develop functional specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Identifying Requirements - Determines functional requirements and communicates them using requirements documents and functional specifications. Identifies recurring issues that affect system processes, assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
  • Reporting and Analysis - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and potential areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results. Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy, trends and potential efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • Application Support - Provides expert functional support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Partners with Technology to implement recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on the PeopleSoft Financials system and data output.
  • Configuration - Completes necessary configuration, performs system testing and supports user acceptance testing. Assists in identifying and resolving recurring process issues.
  • Ensures fixes and enhancements comply with operational controls, change management process, is effective and scalable for a growing organization.
  • Documentation - Prepares and maintains department procedural documentation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coupa admin experience
  • PeopleSoft Accounts Payable and Expenses experience
