Summary
Assist the Conference & Event Services staff with all facets of office processes. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting customers in the reservation process for events in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Olscamp Hall, academic space and all additional areas managed by the office.

Essential Functions
  • Front-line customer service; answering phones, taking messages and greeting office visitors.
  • General Office functions including faxing, filing, copying, mail sorting, errands and running daily reports.
  • Checking and responding to voice mail and e-mail, forwarding messages.
  • Taking event requests/inquiries over the phone and in person.
  • Complete space and resource assignments for the Student Union and Academic space.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows Office Suite.

Additional Information
  • Conference & Event Services office hours (8am-5pm).
  • Business casual attire.

  • Applicants should be available a minimum 25 hours during office hours to create schedule from.
