The Partnership Development Coordinator supports MEDIKO’s strategic growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with correctional institutions, and coordinating outreach, conference logistics, and RFP processes. This role works closely with the Director of Partnership Development to expand MEDIKO’s footprint in correctional healthcare markets, enhance visibility at industry events, and ensure seamless pipeline management. The Coordinator collaborates with internal clinical, operational, legal, and finance teams to support accurate proposals, compliant submissions, and effective relationship development with new and prospective clients. 

How YOU can Make an Impact:

  • Research county, state, and federal correctional facilities to identify potential partnership opportunities. 

  • Build, maintain, and update a database of target agencies and contacts within Salesforce. 

  • Qualify prospects based on strategic fit, operational readiness, and identified risks. 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and public-sector contracting opportunities. 

  • Initiate contact with decision-makers, including sheriffs, wardens, procurement officers, and government officials. 

  • Schedule and support introductory meetings, capability presentations, and follow-up communications. 

  • Assist with planning and coordinating site visits, tours, and executive-level engagements. 

  • Assist in preparing responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and grant-funded initiatives. 

  • Coordinate with clinical operations, HR, legal, and finance teams to compile content, data, and pricing. 

  • Ensure proposals are compliant, complete, well-organized, and submitted on time. 

  • Track RFP processes and maintain timelines, alerts, and status updates. 

  • Manage conference registrations for leadership and assigned staff. 

  • Assist in developing conference itineraries, schedules, and presentation materials. 

  • Support planning for conference presence, booth needs, speaking engagements, and networking strategy. 

  • Attend trade shows, association events, and industry conferences to represent MEDIKO and generate new leads. 

  • Maintain all prospect, contact, meeting, and opportunity data within Salesforce. 

  • Track opportunities through each pipeline stage and ensure next-step actions are documented. 

  • Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline reports, performance metrics, and dashboard updates. 

  • Develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in correctional institutions. 

  • Provide support for onboarding and transitioning new contracts to Operations and Clinical teams. 

  • Maintain communication with partners to reinforce MEDIKO’s mission and value proposition. 

  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure service capabilities align with client needs and proposal requirements. 

  • Work with other departments to support targeted outreach campaigns, collateral updates, and brand messaging. 

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute insights from market data and prospect activity. 

  • Assist with contract coordination and revisions by supporting communication between internal teams and legal counsel. 

  • Ensure all outreach, proposals, and contract activities comply with state and federal regulations. 
    Maintain accurate documentation of conversations, commitments, deadlines, and follow-up requirements. 

  • Protect sensitive information and adhere to all internal confidentiality and data-security standards. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

What we Ask of YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline) from an accredited institution preferred. 

  • Travel is required 60-70%

  • Additional certifications or specialized training may be required depending on the function (e.g., Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR) for HR roles, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for Finance roles, etc.). 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the specific functional area (e.g., HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.). 

  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).Prior experience in RFP, proposal development, or government contracting is highly desirable. 

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct outreach, build relationships, and support sales pipeline management.Experience in healthcare, correctional healthcare, or a regulated industry is preferred. 

  • Demonstrated success in applying function-specific skills (e.g., employee relations for HR, financial reporting for Finance, or sales strategy for Sales) is required. 

  • Knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices may be required, particularly for roles in highly regulated functions like HR and Finance. 

  • Relevant industry certifications based on the role (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPA, etc.).
