Job description

The Cardiac Monitor Technician II monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms for patients in a healthcare setting. Working under limited supervision, this role supports collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate analysis of cardiac data.


Essential Job Function:

  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms and data to identify abnormalities or changes that require attention and intervention.
  • Operates and maintains cardiac monitoring equipment to ensure its proper functioning and accuracy to provide reliable data for patient assessment.
  • Processes recommendations from healthcare professionals for further evaluation or treatment based on the analysis of cardiac data to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.


Experience:

  • Required: 6 months prior cardiac monitoring or completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician Program and passing score on the Cone Health Cardiac Monitoring Interpretation Test, administered by leader prior to offer.
