Job description

The Nursing Technician - Sitter is responsible for working in various departments and units as needed. Under direct supervision this role assists nurses and medical staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients.

Each hospital has their own float pool, which we reference as “Campus Based”. Additionally, the System Wide (SW) float pool covers all hospitals and MedCenters in Greensboro, High Point, Burlington and Reidsville.

Applying to this opening will allow the recruiter to access your interest, experience and background to confirm which option may be best for you between the Moses Cone Hospital Float Pool or the SW float pool. In order to be considered for the SW float pool you must be willing to travel to all locations listed above.

Please note - Our float pools are reserved for applicants with hospital/acute care experience. If you have less than 1 year of experience, please consider a singular unit.  

We have various shifts and schedules available such as:

  • Full time Days, 7a-7:30p, including weekend rotation
  • Full time Nights 7p-7:30a, including weekend rotation
  • Part time Days 7a-7:30p, including weekend rotation
  • Part time Weekend Nights (every Saturday & Sunday), 7p-7:30a
