Job Description
LOCATION: Moses Cone Hospital, Magnetic Resonance Imaging
CITY: Greensboro
JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No / FTE: 0.001 (relief) / Schedule: Varies / On Call: NO
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to maintain regulatory and professional standards and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities. A close working relationship with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and the medical staff is required to maintain a cost-effective and patient-focused service. This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing MR procedures using the approved workflows and procedural protocols. Technologists in this position are able to demonstrate full knowledge of MR equipment. Radiologic Technologists are authorized to handle and administer contrast media in accordance with radiology processes and procedures. Competencies are completed through the Radiology department.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
Additional Information:
Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program.
EXPERIENCE:
0-1 year -Healthcare - MR Technologist -Required
1-2 years -Healthcare - MR Technologist -Preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING-REQUIRED:
ARRT (MR) -MRI Technologist
ARMRIT(MR) -ARMRIT(MR)
BLS (CPR) -AHA Health Care Provider BLS
Additional information on required licensure/certification/registry/listings:
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT(MR) acceptable. Must have above credentials and maintain at all times.
