Advanced Preventive Care: Perform thorough dental prophylaxis and dental scaling, applying principles of infection prevention management.
Holistic Assessment: Integrate patient assessment with a focus on sleep medicine and pain management, identifying risk factors and collecting data relevant to whole-body health.
Patient Education & Counseling: Provide advanced dental care patient education and counseling, specifically detailing the connection between oral health, sleep, and chronic pain.
Diagnostic Imaging: Operate and interpret specialized imaging, including CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography), to aid in comprehensive patient evaluation.
Record Management: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure meticulous management of HIPAA compliance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team to develop and support comprehensive treatment plans that address both dental and systemic health goals.
Patient Interaction: Ensure exceptional patient interaction and comfort across diverse demographics.

Salary Range

Requirements
  • Licensed dental hygienist

Current and active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Indiana.
Proven experience in a dental clinic environment.

Familiarity with dental care patient counseling and education.
Understanding of HIPAA compliance management and infection prevention protocols.

Preferences

Experience or specialized training in sleep medicine (e.g., airway assessment) or pain management.
Familiarity with operating and interpreting advanced imaging technology, specifically Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).
Experience or interest in the principles of growth and development related to dental function.
