Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Journeyman Electrician in Nashville, TN. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within a hospital environment, with a specialized focus on rigid conduit installation. The ideal candidate will be an expert in conduit bending and have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures required for healthcare facilities.

Pay: $26 to $32 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and bend rigid conduit to accommodate specific wiring needs using manual and power benders.
  • Install, secure, and remove rigid conduit systems within a hospital setting to support facility infrastructure.
  • Interpret and work from complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate electrical placement.
  • Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and outlets.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and switches.
  • Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and healthcare-specific safety standards.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using specialized testing devices to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate electrical work and prevent project delays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience specifically focused on rigid conduit bending and installation.
  • Proven experience working as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial or healthcare construction environments.
