Description
Harmoniq Residential is seeking a driven, people focused General Manager to lead operations across two communities: the condominium association at Lake Shore Commons and IVY, a 28 unit townhome style market rate rental community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution, building strong relationships, and taking full ownership of community performance. You will serve as a trusted partner to ownership and the association board while leading day to day operations, financial performance, and the overall resident experience.
This is an opportunity to step into a visible leadership role where you can shape how a community operates, feels, and performs.
What you will do
  • Lead day to day operations across both communities
  • Serve as the primary partner to ownership and the association board
  • Build strong, trust based relationships with residents, board members, and vendors
  • Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and project execution
  • Develop, manage, and track budgets in partnership with ownership and association leadership
  • Support leasing oversight at IVY to maintain occupancy and a positive resident experience
  • Ensure compliance with association bylaws, regulations, and applicable laws
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintenance and on site teams
  • Handle escalated resident concerns with professionalism and a solutions focused approach
  • Identify opportunities to improve operations, efficiency, and overall community experience

You will not be doing this alone. You'll work closely with ownership and a collaborative internal team that is invested in supporting you in decision making, resident situations, and long term planning.
Requirements
What we are looking for
  • 3 to 5 years of property management or related leadership experience
  • Experience working with condominium or homeowners associations strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing or contributing to budgets
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to think strategically while staying hands on when needed
  • Calm, thoughtful approach when navigating complex or sensitive situations

Nice to have
  • Experience with property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, Entrata, or AppFolio
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
  • Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet
