Overview

The Concessions Stand Lead is a high-energy, guest-facing position responsible for overseeing day-of-event operations for an assigned concession stand at Benchmark International Arena. Concessions Stand Leads play a key role in elevating the fan experience by delivering fast, friendly, and responsible service directly to guests on the concourse. This role requires strong communication skills, mobility, and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced, highvolume environment. This role ensures staff readiness, product quality, and consistent delivery of OVG standards. Concessions Stand Leads support the Concessions Management team by supervising staff, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring equipment functionality, and resolving guest concerns. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00

This position will remain open until September 25, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Assign positions, guide staff performance, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure the stand is fully stocked, clean, and event-ready.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, temperature, and presentation.
  • Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management when needed.
  • Track product usage, request restocks, and prevent shortages.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Report equipment issues and ensure proper functionality.
  • Communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by Leads or Managers.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid alcohol and food service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS credit transactions and product inventory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Three or more months' experience in the food service industry, concessions preferred.
  • Must be able to operate POS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods during events. 
  • Able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. 
  • The employee is frequently required to lift heavy objects.
