Position Summary

The Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the suites level (which includes 29 suites), exclusive VIP areas, and catering areas. The Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor will assist the Premium Manager with projects including training, inventory and special events. The Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 to $24.00

Responsibilities
  • Read and understand suite orders and banquet event orders provided by the manager. 
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to guests in suites, club spaces, and event areas throughout the ballpark. 
  • Responsible for checking and helping with catering stations, buffets, beverage areas, and suites according to event specifications and presentation standards. 
  • Ensures all assigned suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders and all catering areas are set before serving time.
  • Display high attention to detail to ensure that work is accurate and complete.  
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments 
  • Monitor food quality, temperature, and replenishment levels during events 
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. 
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. 
  • Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met. 
  • Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously and escalate issues to management when needed. 
  • Ability to mutli-task and work independently during slower times  
  • Maintains customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.  
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).  
  • All other duties as assigned by the managers.
Qualifications
  • At Least 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable Education.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.  
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
