Job description

SUMMARY
The Concessions Supervisor oversees exceptional customer service at Gillette Stadium's food and beverage assigned concourse locations and staff. Concessions include a variety of locations including: Beer Portables, Markets, and stands. A primary focus is to ensure exceptional customer service and that all alcohol sales policies are followed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Verify and monitor product inventories, before and during the event, to ensure they are maintained at the appropriate levels for service and sales objectives.
  2. Oversee the safe and responsible service of alcohol.
  3. Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed.
  4. Train and coach staff on basic food service operations.
  5. Oversee the assigned locations closing properly, timely and accurately with inventory control.
  6. Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position will oversee assigned concessions locations on event day.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Foodservice management experience is not necessary, but preferred
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
  • Team oriented and strong customer service skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry 25lbs, bend, pull, reach, and push. May be required to reach upper levels of the stadium via walking inclined ramps
  • Ability to work on main concourse, upper concourse, or plaza area as needed
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Densely populated on event day
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud on event days
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Position may require work in inclement weather to include heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain Serve Safe Certification.
  • TEAMs Training Certification or ability to obtain TEAMs certification.
