QUALIFICATIONS:

DESCRIPTION:
-Collaborate with the dance instructor to align choreography with CTE, NJ VPA, and industry standards
-Create and teach up to 10 minutes of original concert choreography appropriate to student skill levels and program goals
-Model professional rehearsal etiquette, time management, and collaboration
-Provide technical and artistic feedback to students to support skill development and performance quality
-Adapt choreography as needed based on student abilities, spacing, and rehearsal constraints
-Incorporate industry practices such as warm-ups, creative process discussion, and rehearsal protocols
-Support students in understanding the choreographic process and career pathways in dance
-Participate in rehearsals leading up to performances or assessments
-Communicate progress, scheduling needs, and artistic goals with the supervising dance educator
-Maintain intellectual property rights for original choreography, while granting the school permission to rehearse and perform
the work for educational and concert purposes, as agreed upon in advance
-Observe and follow all school policies, schedules, and student safety procedures
