Job description

Summary Maintain Band Library Music. Regularly prepare and distribute music as requested for instructional and performance needs as requested. Will also work with our archival music area at the Jerome Library.

Career Readiness Competencies: Communication Professionalism Teamwork Essential Functions Catalog music into files Maintain all band literature files Responsible for tour music Duplicate music for concert, marching and athletic bands Pull music, scores as requested by directors Must be available to work periodically during the summer Duties as assigned by directors Minimum Qualifications Familiar with use of copier Ability to work independently Ability to prioritize and complete tasks accurately in a timely manner Reliable attendance Additional Information Application must include a cover letter addressing the following questions to be considered: Please list any qualifications from your past work or study experience that would be pertinent to librarianship, organizational skills, and overall attention to detail. Briefly describe what would make you a good fit for a student worker in the band library. Please list how many semesters of coursework you have remaining prior to graduation or student teaching.
