This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while providing high-quality outpatient services from your home or a designated office space. • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and determine individualized treatment plans aimed at recovery and resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address trauma-related symptoms.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate patients' processing of trauma and development of coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated care approach for all patients, considering their unique needs.
• Offer crisis intervention services to support patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate care.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, emphasizing coping mechanisms, available resources, and ongoing support.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with established legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development activities that focus on the latest trends in trauma-informed care.
• Continuously update your knowledge of current research and best practices within the realm of trauma therapy to enrich your practice.

The primary focus of this role is on trauma survivors, including individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By implementing trauma-informed care principles, you will support patients in navigating their unique challenges and promote their healing journeys. • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Nevada.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and a proficiency in trauma-focused therapies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach when working with clients.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-related disorders.
• Demonstrated ability in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer software for documentation and reporting.
