• Conduct thorough assessments, including diagnosing when necessary, to evaluate patients’ mental health conditions and the effectiveness of proposed treatment using established clinical tools, such as the DSM-5.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to create and adjust individualized care plans that recognize cultural diversity and special needs pertinent to our patient population.
• Regularly monitor patients’ progress, implementing interventions and strategies designed to support their mental health diagnoses.
• Document and maintain all clinical information—treatment records, reports, reviews—accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to craft comprehensive treatment plans that reflect desired outcomes and align with the patients' goals.
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate with external treatment providers, ensuring patients maintain a clear pathway to necessary resources.
• Educate and mentor students, interns, and other support staff over the course of their training, contributing to the development of future professionals.
• Contribute to team development by participating in peer reviews, chart audits, and clinical collaboration under the supervision of clinical leadership.

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families affected by cancer, requiring a nuanced understanding of the psychological and emotional challenges that accompany such diagnoses. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique cultural and personal needs each patient presents, ensuring a holistic care experience.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

While not mandatory, experience working within community health settings and familiarity with cancer care processes will be considered advantageous. Additionally, having a background in trauma-informed care will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
